Looking for a killer band for your wedding? | Grand Rapids-area, Michigan

As a Grand Rapids area wedding photographer I’m exposed to a wide variety of different entertainment options for wedding receptions! Picking the right DJ or band is one of many crucial decisions facing a bride and groom as they hire different wedding vendors in preparation for their wedding day. It’s right up there with the other critical vendors: reception venue, caterer, wedding photographer, and florist. A poor choice for any of these vendors and your bound to be disappointed come your wedding day.
Which leads me to the point of this post; I don’t think I see enough live bands at weddings anymore. Tracy and I were just at TJ’s Sports Bar in Lowell, Michigan this weekend and had the opportunity to see the local band Cover Story perform several long sets of classic and contemporary Rock and Popular music on Saturday evening…They ABSOLUTELY ROCKED! and would be perfect for any bride and groom that wanted an absolutlely kicking wedding reception! The band members were all very amicable and extremely talented! Like I said, if you want a reception that your friends and families are going to be talking about for years to come, check these guys (and girl!) out.
