1) What is a Flush-mount album?
A flush-mount album has pages where your wedding photographs extend to the edges of the page and the binding. This ensures that the entire page is filled with your pictures and is a beautiful way to display your wedding images.
2) How long does it take for delivery of the wedding album?
We pride ourselves on getting the wedding album delivered to our brides and grooms in a timely and efficient manner. After the wedding we immediately begin post-processing your photos in the digital darkroom and designing your wedding album. Depending on the album size we usually have the initial design available for review within 1 month. Our couples then have the option to take as much time as they need to review the album pages and work with our photographers to make any changes to the album that they desire. Once a decision is made we make final changes and place an order for the album to be printed, assembled and delivered.
3) Can I just make my own album with the digital images I purchased in my wedding package?
Absolutely you can, we provide the printing rights with all wedding photography packages. However, we recommend that you take advantage of our professional album design expertise. We are extremely passionate about crafting albums for our clients that effortlessly blend each individual photograph into a visually pleasing keepsake that our couples will treasure forever. Keeping with this commitment we use state-of-the-art professional imaging software to create high quality albums for our clients.
In addition, Left Shoe Photography and other photographers who are committed to presenting their clients with high-quality albums and products ensure that their images are color-corrected specifically to the printers used by their pro-photography labs. Failure to do this results in pictures that can look poorly exposed or have abnormal color tints and skin tones. Also, labs that cater exclusively to pro photographers use the finest quality photography papers, dyes and ink pigments to ensure that albums will withstand the 30,50,60+ years of sunlight, oxygen and finger oils that will substantially diminish the brilliance of your wedding images if printed on some lower end consumer printers.
